magicJack Review

We tried out the magicJack and although we haven't made the official switch yet; here is the break down of our pros & cons during our 1 year of using magicJack:


PROS

• We loved the price (19.95/yr) vs. our monthly phone bill with TWC.
• The quality of the sound was comparable to the Digital Phone service we have through TWC.
• We loved the ability of seeing who was calling while using the internet.
• We could make calls via the magicJack console and then dial out with the phone.
• One price for all the phone features (call waiting, caller ID, etc);  there weren't any hidden fees.
  

CONS

•  The computer the magicJack is attached to has to be on all the time to be able to make & receive phone calls.
