Medical Care for the uninsured!!

Alliance Medical Ministry is a Primary Care facility, located in Raleigh, North Carolina, for those who are employed, but cannot afford health insurance.  There is a sliding scale for fees, but 98% of the patients only pay $10.00 for a visit.

There are a few requirements to become a patient:

  • Proven resident of Wake County
  • No health insurance
  • No Medicaid
  • No Medicare
  • 18 years or older
  • Must be employeed, or live with a family member who is employeed
There are also some requirements that will need to be met on your first appointment:

  • Must be 30 minutes early
  • Must bring photo ID
  • Must bring proof of income. We accept current year taxes, letter from employer, or paystubs
  • Payment is expected at time of services

Have you been looking for recipes so you can make your own homemade mustard, mayonnaise, ketchup or chipotle sauce?  If so, then look no further I am posting some I found online, as well as the source where I found them! Homemade Ketchup Ingredients: 1 (28-oz) can whole tomatoes in purée 1 medium onion, chopped 2 tablespoons olive oil 1 tablespoon tomato paste 2/3 cup packed dark brown sugar 1/2 cup cider vinegar 1/2 teaspoon salt Directions: Blend tomatoes and purée from the can in a blender until smooth. In a heavy 4-quart saucepan, Cook onion in oil over moderate heat, stirring, until softened (about 8 minutes). Add puréed tomatoes, tomato paste, brown sugar, vinegar, and salt. Simmer, uncovered, stirring frequently, until very thick (about an hour). Purée mixture in a blender until smooth.
