Apple Pie Filling ready to be flash frozen.. 


Place apple mixture into a waxed paper lined pie plate then put in freezer uncovered. 
When frozen solid remove from freezer and lift out of the pie plate. 
Slide into a gallon freezer storage bag until ready to be baked. 
When you want a pie simply make or buy a 9 inch double crust and plop the frozen filling into it! If using glass/ceramic pie plates put in microwave for 15 minutes on high. Then bake at 425 for 40-45 minutes or until crust is golden brown & filling is bubbling.  Metal pie plates go into a 425 degree oven for 50-55 minutes or until crust is golden and filling is bubbling.  Apple Pie Filling in a waxed paper lined pie plate, waiting for the sugar to start dissolving
