Lazy Lattice Cherry Pie


Ingredients:
2 cans Thank You Brand Lite Cherry pie filling
1 recipe pie crust for 9 inch pie
2 shots Amaretto
1/8 cup sugar
1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
2 tablespoons butter


Directions:
Preheat oven to 425.
Mix cinnamon & sugar together, set aside.
In a large bowl combine the Amaretto, half of the sugar/cinnamon mixture & cherries. Set aside.
Roll out the bottom crust ( instead of rolling it out with flour use sugar)
Spray 9 inch pie plate with Pam and lay crust in plate.
Pour cherries into crust and dot with butter.
Roll out remaining crust (in sugar) and cut into 11 strips.
Lay 5 strips across the top.. pull them back half way and lay a strip across them. Straighten strips out half way and lay another strip across and repeat. Go to the other side of pie & repeat.
Crimp crusts together.
Fashion the last strip into a bow or use cookie cutters & decorate center of pie.
Sprinkle the remaining sugar/cinnamon mixture over top.
Bake at 425 for 15 minutes.
Turn heat down to 325 and bake for 30 minutes or until crust is brown and filling is bubbling.
