Turkey Breakfast Sausages

Turkey Breakfast Sausages (Sodium & Fat Free)
Ingredients:
3# ground turkey
6 heaping tablespoons unsweetened applesauce
2 heaping tablespoons ground sage
2 heaping tablespoons garlic powder
2 heaping tablespoons onion powder
1 heaping tablespoon black pepper
1 1/2 heaping teaspoons thyme
1/8 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes
pinch of allspice
Directions:
Put everything in a big bowl & mix it together with your hands.. the best way to be sure all of the spices are well incorporated.
Divide into 24 portions (I used a big ice cream scoop to measure mine out) and cook in a medium hot pan about 2-3 minutes on each side or until they are cooked all the way through.
Serving size is 2 patties for women and 4 patties for men.
Since it makes 24 patties I only par-cooked mine (until they browned & firmed up a bit) and the cooled them before I put the extra in ziploc baggies in the freezer. When you need them just pop them into a medium hot pan with a bit of water and finish cooking them ~ no need to defrost.)
