I don't measure any of the ingredients as I do most of my cooking by the dump method and season to taste! You will need the following ingredients: Brown sugar (approx. 1 cup) Worcestershire Sauce (approx 1/4 cup) Ketchup (approx. 1/4 cup) Mustard (approx 1/4 cup) Mix it all up and you have BBQ sauce!

1 lb ground beef, browned and drained 3 cans of cream of celery, chicken or mushroom 2 cups of shredded cheese 1 package of medium, egg noodles, cooked and drained (according to package directions) Steamed, drained veggies(optional) Mix all of the above ingredients together and you have dinner! You can also mix in some steamed, drained veggies This recipe only feed 4 grown adults so you may need to double this recipe if you're feeding LOTS of people!

I found this GREAT savings spreadsheet at www.hotcouponworld.com ; tangeemct posted it in the Getting Started forum.  I would highly recommend signing up to use the site and to download the spreadsheet.  You will need Microsoft Excel to open it or if you have a Google Mail account (Gmail) you can upload it and use it with Google Docs.  I personally like Google Docs better than Microsoft Office because I can access all of my documents from my laptop or my desktop computer and continue where I left off and the best part is it's FREE!  Once you have the spreadsheet open you will see some directions on how to use it.  I use mine every time I shop now and I don't know what I would do without it!  I love trying to beat my percentage saved every time I shop; it gives me more of a goal to work towards and it makes shopping A LOT more fun!

I never knew how much teenagers could eat!  My kids come home from school looking for a snack and by dinner they're starving again!  They tell me they're still hungry around bedtime!  It can be very overwhelming feeling that I'm not doing enough to keep them content, but I try to remember back to being a child and I don't remember eating around the clock the way they do. When I go grocery shopping I normally spend somewhere between $100.00-$150.00 a week and it doesn't feel like it goes very far sometimes!  Many times I have to get very creative with what's in my cabinets!  I make my own barbecue sauce and recently found some other recipes online to make other condiments that we use frequently.  I shop for all the deals I can, use coupons for items on sale, and use my grocery store discount card.  By doing this I normally can save around $50.00.

We were redecorating the house over the weekend and I have been wanting to buy new curtains, but haven't wanted to spend money on curtains since you only get ONE panel and of course I needed two.  We all know how quickly the expense adds up just for something as small as curtains.  I went to Kmart looking for some things to decorate with and I just happened to check out the curtains and I found a package on clearance.  I was ecstatic when I looked in the opened package to find TWO panels, but I couldn't resist when I saw the price - $5.00 for TWO panels!  The package was only for 1 panel and originally priced at $14.99.  So, of course I HAD to buy them!  I brought them home and hung them up and I have to say that they look awesome!  I'll try to get a photo up of them soon!

Spaghetti & Meatballs 1 box of Angel Hair Pasta 1 can of Hunts Spaghetti Sauce 1 Jar of Marinara Sauce 1 small can of tomato paste Garlic Salt Italian Seasoning Frozen or Refrigerated Turkey Meatballs Cookie Sheet Grab 2 large pots (1 for spaghetti & 1 for the Sauce)  In the 1st pot boil water with garlic salt according to package directions.  In the 2nd pot add the can & jar of spaghetti sauce, tomato paste, & then the garlic salt & Italian seasoning to taste.  Bring to a boil and then reduce heat to simmer.     Preheat the oven and bake the meatballs according to package directions on a cookie sheet. Once the meatballs have finished baking add them into the Spaghetti Sauce and stir. Pork Chop Casserole I have been cooking this recipe since I was 14 and this becomes a quick favorite to all that try it! 13x9x2 glass baking dish 6 Pork Chops (I get the boneless) Cheddar Cheese (2 cups) Durkee French Fried Onions - you can get Cheddar or Original - (Large Can) Bag of Frozen Cubed Potatoes Cream of Mushroom (celery if you don't like mushrooms) 1/2 a can of Milk (Use your cream of mushroom can) Salt & Pepper to taste Brown your pork chops in a skillet just until browned and remove from heat. Mix all the other ingredients in a bowl, BUT save some onions and cheese for the topping... Add your pork chops to the top of the potato mixture in the pan. Add the remaining cheese and onions and cover with aluminum foil. Bake on 350 for 45 minutes and remove foil for last 20 minutes... It's ready when the cheese is melted and sides are bubbly...

We tried out the magicJack and although we haven't made the official switch yet; here is the break down of our pros & cons during our 1 year of using magicJack: PROS We loved the price (19.95/yr) vs. our monthly phone bill with TWC. The quality of the sound was comparable to the Digital Phone service we have through TWC. We loved the ability of seeing who was calling while using the internet. We could make calls via the magicJack console and then dial out with the phone. One price for all the phone features (call waiting, caller ID, etc);  there weren't any hidden fees. Bourbon Chicken We all LOVED this recipe! We will definitely be using this again! 2 lbs boneless chicken breast, cut into bite-size pieces 1-2 tablespoon olive oil 1 garlic clove, crushed 1/4 teaspoon ginger 3/4 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes 1/4 cup apple juice 1/3 cup light brown sugar 2 tablespoons ketchup 1 tablespoon cider vinegar 1/2 cup water 1/3 cup soy sauce Heat oil in a large skillet. Add chicken pieces and cook until lightly browned. Remove chicken. Add remaining ingredients, heating over medium Heat until well mixed and dissolved. Add chicken and bring to a hard boil. Reduce heat and simmer for 20 minutes. (The sauce starts out really watery and thickens the longer you simmer it. I've heard of some people adding cornstarch to thicken it, but it's not necessary if you wait for it to turn into a glaze. You can log on to the website (started by Susan Whetzel) and choose a soldier, bake some goodies and ship them off.  I love the idea that something we find so trivial soldiers find comforting so I wanted to share this in hopes that we can all join in and get "BAKING GALS"!!
